“This is a freshly, and very well, renovated property. The bed was excellent as was the shower. Hilton has made a very nice hotel at an excellent price point. The staff was nothing short of exceptional. Gi Gi greeted me warmly at my rather late check-in and the fellow on desk duty the next morning, very early, insisted upon packing me a nice breakfast to go, since the buffet was an hour or so from being set up. Very nice service indeed and I will be back.”

“The stay at the property started out on a bad note. The staff person at the check in counter was both rude and uninviting. No smile, no Hello welcome. If I was the manager of the property, I would have fired him on the spot.”

“The room was clean with all the expected amenities. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked great. I love the onsite cafe. The pool looked inviting and the deck was clean with nice lounge chairs. Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, link sausages, potatoes and make your own waffles. Only one suggestion : This is Tucson, AZ! Please provide salsa as an option for scrambled eggs. I would LOVE a side of green chile, (I’m from NM) but I’m sure that’s asking too much. 😎👍”

“Three bedroom was perfect for the 5 of us. Just enough space for us. Bathroom tight and a step up to it was a bit weird. Not much in town but great access to local trails, which is what we came for. ”

“This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. Breakfast was in a room by the lobby and did not vary for the almost 4 weeks we were there. The room was not well attended during breakfast hours and we often had to ask them to refill the coffee machine. The outdoor pool was closed. “My stay at El Conquistador was fabulous from the moment I arrived. The staff that checked us in were attentive and informative. One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest parking lot may not be located close to your room, requiring a bit of a walk. I am sure if you asked the front desk they would send someone to assist you. You can arrange a golf cart ride from staff to anywhere on the property.
